Fae earned her Superior Genetics designation as a yearling first freshener along with her AR milk star in all 3 categories. As a 3 year old 3rd freshener she had really started to blossom, but unfortunately came down with mastitis early in her lactation, leaving her a touch lopsided but she continued through a full lactation with only a slight decrease. And even appraised with an E mammary in spite of the effects the mastitis had on her just a couple months prior.

So chill and laid back. There was a point where I referred to her as “blah” because her personality just didn’t stand out. Honestly, now, I LOVE it! Shes our “whatever” girl.
Fae has a gorgeous front end. Brisket, shoulders, legs, smooth blending into her neck. Shes beautiful. In 2021 as a 3 year old 3rd freshener she appraised VEEE90 with 41 for rear udder height and 40 for rear udder arch. She is passing these gorgeous traits onto her progeny, making Fae absolutely ideal and what it’s all about for a breeder!

Dragonfly
It is official! After leasing her for 4 years, my girl has officially become MY girl! We celebrated by winning that 3rd Grand Champion leg to make Dragonfly a permanent finished champion at 7 years old.
She took a year off after her first freshening, which had a lactation cut short. But easily sailed through her second freshening as a 3 year old earning her AR star in all 3 categories while hitting up all the shows with me. I am constantly checking her out as she hangs around in the pasture, and was so very pleased to see her beautiful second freshening udder. She is a good looking goat. Not surprising when you study her pedigree. And absolutely sweet as can be! She settled right into the Little RedHouse herd.

Navi
Navi’s dam was the first of the Little RedHouse herd name and she is doing us proud. Navi is long and level with an elegant wide head and nice brisket. My one keeper from our 2019 kidding season, and we said from the beginning we are pretty sure she knew it. She had an air of superiority over the others, an “I can get away with anything” attitude. She’s a bit oblivious and pushy when it comes to getting the love and attention she so *obviously* deserves! She’s also weird. Very, very weird.
I was going to update Navi’s info but when I began erasing, I realized the original paragraph needed to stay. It’s Navi. She’s strange. She’s brilliant while stupid all at the same time. And dangit this little turd is gorgeous.
2021 appraisal she was fat but still earned VVEE90, and the appraiser commented that she ”has a 92 udder”. 37 fore udder attachment, 40 rear udder height, 38 rear udder arch, 34 teat placement, 30 rear udder side view. She is now VEEE91, and has given me beautiful daughter after daughter. She also has several sons working in herds somewhat local that I can’t wait to use on the very select few does in my herd not so closely related to her.

Bonnie
Her sister was originally my first choice keeper of the two, but as they grew Bonnie continued to stand out. I am so happy with my decision to keep her. She is one of my favorites to look at, and then for her to freshen with a lovely udder, I can’t wait to see how she matures. a gentle calm demeanor. Bonbon earned her dry leg at our first show of 2022.

Flower
This little doe caught my eye immediately, she is so striking. Long level beauty from the beginning with that spitfire (with a touch of nuttyness) personality I’ve come to expect from Navi and her kids ;) As a first freshening yearling Flower has been consistently praised in and out of the ring for being so well balanced, level, with a wonderful mammary. She’s so very elegant, even if her personality doesn’t match.
